Sour Cream Coffee Cake

2 stick(s) butter, softened
2 cup(s) granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 cup(s) sour cream
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
2 cup(s) all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon(s) baking powder
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
TOPPING
1/2 cup(s) finely chopped pecans
1/2 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
2 tablespoon(s) light brown sugar
Instruções
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a tube pan.
Cream together the butter, sugar, and eggs in an electric mixer.
Then, barely fold in by hand the sour cream and vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, sift together the dry ingredients. VERY important to sift!
Fold the dry ingredients gently into the batter.
Mix together the topping ingredients.
Pour half of the batter into the tube pan.
Sprinkle with half of the topping.
Spoon on the rest of the batter.
Sprinkle on the remainder of the topping.
Bake for 55-60 minutes until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.
Cool for several hours and then remove from pan. To serve, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
