Honey Madeleines

Ingredientes

1 cup flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1-1/2 tablespoons honey

3 eggs

1/2 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instruções

Sift flour and baking powder

Melt butter and honey in saucepan; cool

Whisk eggs and sugar so stiffly that they leave a ribbon trail

Stir in vanilla

Fold in flour and baking powder

Pour honey mixture over batter; fold lightly

Chill 20-30 minutes

Heat oven to 450; butter 24 madeleine molds

Pour batter into molds, 3/4 full

Bake 5 minutes; reduce temp to 400

Bake 5-7 minutes
