Ingredientes

  • 1/2 stick of butter

  • 1/2 yellow onion, diced

  • 2 T garlic

  • 2-3 T flour

  • 2 cups chicken stock

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 can Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies

  • 1 lb. Velveeta cheese

  • 1 lb. rotini pasta

  • 1 rotisserie chicken

Instruções

Start cooking pasta according to package directions. Add 1/2 of a stick of butter to a pan and melt. Add onion and garlic and cook until softened. Add flour and cook for a couple of minutes. Add chicken stock, stir, and bring to a simmer. Add milk, salt, and pepper. Add Rotel with juice and Velveta cut into chunks. Stir until Velveta melts. Add pasta to a casserole dish and layer on rotisserie chicken and cheese sauce. Wiggle cheese sauce down into the pasta. Cover with foil and bake in a 350-degree oven for 20 minutes then uncover and cook for 10 minutes more.
