Składniki

Flour – 500 g

Dry yeast – 7 g (or fresh yeast – 20 g)

Sugar – 60 g

Salt – 10 g

Warm milk – 250 ml

Butter – 300 g (100 g for dough + 200 g for layering)

1 egg (for brushing)

Wskazówki

Mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 10 minutes.

Add flour, salt, and 100 g butter. Knead the dough. Let rise for 1–1.5 hours.

Roll out 200 g butter between parchment paper and chill.

Place the butter sheet inside the dough, roll and fold. Repeat 2–3 times.

Cut the dough into triangles and roll into croissants.

Let rise 30–40 minutes, brush with egg, and bake at 200°C for 15–20 minutes until golden.
