American Wheat and White Bean Stew

1 lb dried white beans, soaked in water overnight

2 large carrots, sliced

1 large yellow onion, sliced

22 oz American wheat ale

2 cups water

Two 3-4 inch sprigs of rosemary

1 tsp fine sea salt

1/2 tsp ground black pepper

Wskazówki

Drain and rinse the beans, and add them to the bowl of a slow cooker (about 6 quarts in size). Add the carrots and onion. Pour in the beer and water. Stir to combine all ingredients. Place the rosemary sprigs in the liquid.

COver the slow cooker with the lid and cook on low for 8 hours or until the beans reach your desired tenderness. Stir in the salt and papper. Serve warm. Leftovers will keep up to 2 days in the fridge.
