Granny’s Banana Cream Pie

Granny's Banana Cream Pie
3/4 C sugar
1/3 C flour
1/4 tsp salt
2 C milk
3 egg yolks, lightly beaten
2 T butter
1 tsp vanilla
3 medium firm bananas
Pie crust (baked)
Whipped cream
Instructies
In a saucepan, combine sugar, flour, salt; stir in milk and mix well. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture thickens and comes to a boil. boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Temper egg yolks into cream mixture. Cook for two minutes stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla. Allow to cool slightly. Line bottom of pie crust with sliced bananas and pour mixture over. Cool and add whipped cream.
