Stroge la Beef Stroganoff wanna be)

1 1b hamburger
2 T oil
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 Ib mushrooms
1 clove garlic
2 T flour
1 tsp oregano
1 tep salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 T dried Parsley
2 T chili powder
1 sp Italian seasoning
1 can beef consume diluted to make 2 cups

Instructies
brith Brown hamburger and saufe mushrooms, onions, garlic in oil. When sauteed, add meat then all other ingredients. Simmer 15 minutes. Serve over rice.
Mom's Notes: You could add a bit of sour cream to make this more stroganoffish and serve over noodles instead. This is really tasty heated up the 2nd day too.

This is a recipe I learned in my 9th grade home-eo class. I don't remember the teacher's real name, we called her Miss Keenchen because that's how she said kitchen (of course she didn't know we called her that. This is one of the recipes that I really liked and continued to use for years to come. I named it "Stroge".
