Mini Brie Bites

Ingrediënten

3 oz. prosciutto

2, 1.9 oz. packages of Athens Phyllo Shells

8 oz. triple creme brie cheese wheel, place in freezer for 15-20 minutes to firm up

8 ½ oz. jar fig jam

1 tbsp. fresh thyme

Instructies

Place the Brie in the freezer making it much easier to cut.

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the prosciutto in little nests on the baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until prosciutto is crispy.

Remove from oven, cool and chop into pieces. Toss the fresh thyme in the prosciutto and set aside. Reduce the oven to 325°F.

Slice the brie cheese into cubes.

Line another baking sheet with parchment paper and set the phyllo shells on the baking sheet. Place ~1 tsp. Of fig jam into each pastry shell. Top with Brie. Bake for 6-8 minutes or until cheese is melty.

Garnish the top of each brie bite with the prosciutto and thyme. Enjoy!

Notities

Triple Creme Brie Cheese Wheel: Opt for a triple creme brie if you can because it is SO delicious. Place the brie in the freezer for 15-20 minutes to firm up making it easier to cut into the small cubes.
