Main Ingredients:
400g beef brisket
1/4 Korean radish (cut into chunks)
1 green onion (stem thinly sliced for garnish, the rest cut into large pieces)
1 bowl cooked instant rice
Seasoning & Aromatics:
3 tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp tuna sauce
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 ½ water
1 large spoon beef dashida (Korean beef stock powder)
Black pepper (optional, to taste)
use salt if you need more seasoning

Thinly slice the stem of the green onion for garnish, and chop the rest into large pieces for the broth.
Cut radish into not too thick slices.
In a pot, cook the beef brisket until the fat starts to melt.
Add the radish and stir-fry together until the beef is not red.
Add 3 tbsp of sesame oil and stir to coat.
Mix in the soy sauce, tuna sauce, and minced garlic.
Pour in 1.5L of water and stir in a large spoon of beef dashida.
Add the large green onion pieces and bring to a boil. Let it cook for 8 minutes.
Skim off any fat and scum, then season with pepper if desired.
In a bowl, place a serving of cooked instant rice.
Ladle the hot galbitang over the rice and garnish with the thin green onion slices.
