Jerusalem Bagels

Ingredientai

4 cups (500g) all-purpose flour

1 tbsp active dry yeast

3 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp salt

1½ cups (360 ml) warm water

3 tbsp olive oil

1¼ cups (187g) sesame seeds

For dipping:

½ cup labaneh

1–2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp za’atar

Mix flour, yeast & sugar. Add salt, water & oil.

Knead with dough hook 6–7 min until smooth.

Rise covered 45 min, until doubled.

Divide into 6, shape into oval rings.

Dip in cold water, then sesame seeds.

Rest 20 min.

Bake at 190°C / 375°F for 15–20 min until golden.

Crispy outside, soft inside. Best eaten warm.
