Convert ounces to cups, simply as 1 ounce turning into 1 cup.
Use super juice if you make cocktails in advance. Fresh juice doesnโt last long. Super juice does, and it tastes the same.
Donโt add dilution. This is kind of a hot take, but I like to stir or shake my cocktails per order to get the right texture.
Buy a Hamilton beach mixer. It saves you so much time. It froths cocktails like nothing else does. You can use it for espresso martinis, all tiki drinks, or even a margarita. You do need crushed or pebble ice, though, to mix with.
TW MAI TAI ๐๐ฉ
16 oz Aged Jamaican Rum
16 oz Aged Rhum Agricola
8 oz 151 Demerara Rum
12 oz Clement Creole Shrub or Dry Curaรงao
16 oz Orgeat - Liber and Co (Amazon in bio)
16 oz Lime Juice ๐๐ฉ
1/4 oz Aromatic Bitters
1/4 oz Saline Solution
My Mai Tai is very brand specific. But I donโt expect you guys to have all the brands I have. The key to the rums is using aged rums, meaning dark rum thatโs at least 5 years old for me. Iโll leave a list of rums I like and make a single serving with the brands I prefer in another video.
Batching tiki drinks. So I used super lime juice. This batch should last 3 weeks. I donโt like to dilute things and dump them in a big jug that sits all day at a party. I want to add air to these drinks, add texture, and get them cold my way. We had 12 adults here this past weekend, and everyone had a beverage within 6 minutes. The Hamilton beach mixer is an awesome tool. Theyโre in our Amazon store in our bio.
