These juicy baked meatballs are coated in a rich, sticky BBQ glaze and nestled over a layer of melted cheese. Every bite is sweet, savory, and incredibly comforting. It’s the kind of easy oven dish that disappears fast at the dinner table!

Perfect for family dinners, game nights, or when you want something hearty without spending hours in the kitchen.

Ingredients (Serves 4–5)

For the Meatballs

1 lb ground beef

1/2 lb ground pork (optional but recommended for flavor)

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1 large egg

1/4 cup milk

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup finely chopped onion

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 tsp smoked paprika

1 tbsp chopped parsley

For the Sauce

1 cup BBQ sauce

2 tbsp ketchup

1 tbsp honey

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

For the Bake

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar or mozzarella

Extra chopped parsley for garnish

Preheat the oven

Set oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.

Prepare the meatball mixture

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, pork, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, garlic, onion, salt, pepper, paprika, and parsley. Mix gently until combined.

Form the meatballs

Roll into golf-ball sized meatballs and place them in the baking dish.

Bake the meatballs

Bake for 15 minutes until they start to brown.

Make the sauce

In a small bowl mix BBQ sauce, ketchup, honey, and Worcestershire sauce.

Add cheese and sauce

Sprinkle shredded cheese between and around the meatballs, then pour the BBQ sauce mixture evenly over the top.

Bake again

Return to the oven for 10–12 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the sauce is bubbling.

Garnish and serve

Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot.
