1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1 tbs rice vinegar
1 tbs honey
1 tbs sesame oil
1 tbs minced garlic
1 tbs minced ginger
juice of half a lime
1 tsp cornstarch

combine ingredients in a small sauce pan, whisk until smooth, place on low heat, and bring to a low simmer for just a few minutes until it thickens and coats the bag of a spoon (keep a close eye and mix every 30 seconds to avoid spilling over)
