Ingredients:

For the Steak:

6 oz sirloin or flank steak

1 tsp olive oil

1/2 tsp garlic powder

Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Bowl:

2 cups fresh arugula

1/2 avocado, sliced

1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 tsp olive oil (for drizzling)

1 tsp grated parmesan (optional)

Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Season the Steak: Rub steak with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Let sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes.

Sear the Steak: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak for 3–4 minutes per side (or until desired doneness). Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing thinly against the grain.

Prep the Veggies: Halve cherry tomatoes and toss with a pinch of salt, pepper, and olive oil.

Assemble the Bowl: In a large bowl, add a bed of arugula. Top with sliced steak, cherry tomatoes, and avocado.

Finish & Serve: Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle parmesan and crushed red pepper if desired. Serve immediately.
