Biscoff&White Chocolate Stuffed French Toast Crumpets

2 crumpets

50 g white chocolate

1 large egg

1/2 tbsp melted Biscoff spread

1 tbsp Biscoff spread

Biscoff flavoured French toast crumpets (frumpets) with a melting white chocolate centre and extra Biscoff drizzle.

Heaven on a plate ๐Ÿ˜.

Cut circles in the centre of 2 crumpets, making sure you leave the base intact. Scoop out the centre of each & set aside.

Tip: if there are any gaps or holes in the base, you can squish in some of the cut out crumpet to fill the holes, it doesn't need to be perfect!

Place a few squares of white chocolate into each gap.

Add the cut-out crumpet centres back on top. Press them in slightly so they stay in place during cooking.

Whisk 1 large egg with 1/2 tbsp melted Biscoff spread, then soak both crumpets on each side, making sure they are evenly coated.

Heat a large, non-stick frying pan with a glug of oil over a medium heat. Once the pan is hot, add the frumpets and fry for 2-3 mins on each side or until golden & crispy.

Alternatively, you can air fry the frumpets. Simply spritz with a little oil, then air fry at 180C for 6-8 mins, flipping halfway through cooking so they cook evenly on both sides.

Once the frumpets are cooked, drizzle with a little more melted Biscoff spread if desired.

Serve & slice in half to reveal the meltimg white chocolate centres. Enjoy!
