7 qt crockpot
5lb pork sholder Boston Butt
1.5lb signature select gemstone potatoes
Hannafords Dijon mustard
2 cups of chicken broth
1lb of halved baby carrots
1 large sliced yellow sweet onion
2 medium sliced red onions
5-6 cloves of coarsely minced garlic
3-4 fresh Rosemary springs
.3 lbs shiitake mushrooms
A bay leaf
Pork Rub
Paprika
Garlic powder
Alittle onion powder
Alittle parsley
Oregano
A lot of sage (chopped & dried?)
A lot of thyme
A lot of dried Rosemary
A lot of black pepper
Salt

Rub pork sholder with Dijon mustard and then prepared rub
Line bottom of the crockpot with halved carrots, sliced onions and minced garlic
Place finished sholder on top skin side down
Dice potatoes and toss with salt, garlic powder, rosemary and evoo
Fill in gaps in the crockpot with potatoes
Add chicken broth
Add bay leaf, Rosemary sprigs, thyme, oregano, parsley, sage, salt, black pepper
High heat till reduced

Came extremely fatty. Maybe trim sholder more or use less fatty cut

11/17/25 - tossed, forgot to plug the pot in lol
11/24/25 - came out alittle bland. Needs more salt and fresh rosemary. Ran out of spice rack sage and fresh sage didn’t do the trick. Forgot bay leaf
