Bourbon Chicken (chinese Takeout Style

Chicken

1 ½ lbs chicken thighs, diced

1 tsp salt

1 tbsp chicken bouillon

1 tbsp garlic powder

1 tbsp onion powder

1 tbsp paprika

2 tbsp avocado oil

Sauce

⅓ cup soy sauce

⅓ cup oyster sauce

1 tbsp rice vinegar

¼ cup brown sugar

⅓ cup honey

2 tbsp water

Also Needed

2 tbsp fresh garlic, chopped

1 tsp fresh ginger, chopped

3 tbsp bourbon

Season chicken with salt, bouillon, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.

Heat avocado oil in a pan over medium-high heat and cook chicken until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

In the same pan, sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.

Add all sauce ingredients plus bourbon. Stir and let simmer until slightly thickened.

Add chicken back in, toss to coat, and simmer 2–3 minutes until glossy and sticky.

Serve hot over rice or noodles 😍
