Decadent Chocolate Cake

2 c flour, 1 tsp bkg soda, ¼ tsp salt

⅔ c EACH cocoa, hot water, whole milk

10 tbsp room temp butter

1 ¾ c sugar

1 tsp vanilla

3 eggs (room temp)

Mix flour, baking soda, and 1/4 tsp salt.

Mix cocoa, hot water, and whole milk (2/3 c EACH).

Beat together butter, sugar, vanilla, and eggs.

Mix altogether. Divide into 2 9” round greased cake pans. Bake 350* for 30-35 mins. Cool for 10 mins, then remove and cool on racks.
