Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Preheat Your Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) . Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat to prevent sticking.

Step 2: Mix Wet Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the mashed banana , granulated sugar , and melted butter until smooth and well combined.

Ensure there are no large lumps of banana left in the mixture.

Step 3: Combine Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour , baking soda , and salt .

Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the cookies dense.

Step 4: Shape the Cookies

Using a tablespoon or small cookie scoop, portion the dough into evenly sized balls.

Place the dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart to allow room for spreading.

Gently flatten each ball slightly with the back of a spoon.

Step 5: Bake Until Golden

Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 10–12 minutes , or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are set. Avoid overbaking, as the cookies will firm up as they cool.
