If you’ve ever wanted to make your own dumplings but have thought it seems to fiddly, or that you’d never master the folding techniques WELL THIS IS FOR YOU. And me. I have very little hand-eye coordination and even less patience haha. But luckily what these dumplings lack in intricacy they make up for in everything else!!

Plus for a TikTok food trend, these cute little parcels are surprisingly balanced and fresh! The filling is made with crumbled tofu for protein, shredded cabbage, carrot, spring onion, coriander (cilantro) and a sesame-soy sauce. They are SO delicious and would be a fun activity to do with kids or guests to get everybody hands-on in the dinner making process.

Also the outer layer of rice paper goes super crispy and the inner layer stays a little chewy. It’s the most satisfying contrast of textures!!
