How I Made This Garnish

This is a variation of a rice paper garnish that Iโ€™ve been making for a few years now. Itโ€™s a really easy to make and looks very aesthetically eye catching. This is just one variation of it, it works with just about any type of liquid. Iโ€™ve tried before also with Campari and raspberry. So hereโ€™s how I made it ๐Ÿซก

Rice paper (I usually get large ones and cut into quarters)

baking paper

coconut cream 400ml

water 300ml

honey 200g

citric solution (25g:1000ml) 100ml

food colouring or powder

edible glitter

Scrunch the large baking paper into alternative shapes. (Scroll through the slides to see what I mean) Heat up the milk, honey, citric solution and water. (This helps the paper to soak up the liquid)

Lay some of the rice paper in a shallow tray. Pour over some of the milk and drop the food colouring over the milk. Use a bar spoon to stir through the colouring.

After a few seconds when the rice paper has soaked some liquid, lay the coloured paper over the baking sheet. dehydrate at around 60โ€ขc for about 2-3 hours. once dried, sprinkle some gold colouring. Store in a air tight concealer in a cool dry place

im sure there is probably an easier way to do this but yur thatโ€™s how I make these. DM if you got any questions ๐ŸŒŸ]
