500g - Meatballs in Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

Sauce

• 2 tablespoons olive oil

• Tomato paste

• 3/4 cup water

• 4 garlic cloves, chopped

• 2 tablespoons onion soup powder

• 2 level tablespoons cumin

Meatballs

• 500g meat

• 1 tablespoon cumin

• A little salt and pepper

• Chopped zucchini

• 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

• 2 eggs

• Parsley, optional

Start with the sauce: add 2 tablespoons olive oil, tomato paste, and dilute with 3/4 cup water.

2. Add 4 chopped garlic cloves, 2 tablespoons onion soup powder, and 2 level tablespoons cumin.

3. Mix. It should be semi-liquid.

4. Cook for 10 minutes on heat 4–5 so the flavors come together, stirring occasionally.

5. For the meatballs: put the meat in a bowl.

6. Add 1 tablespoon cumin, a little salt and pepper, the chopped zucchini, 1/2 cup breadcrumbs, and 2 eggs.

7. Mix with a fork or with your hands.

8. If you feel like it, add parsley. Or add it to the sauce.

9. Make balls and place them in the hot sauce.

10. The sauce should cover about half the height of each meatball.

11. Bring to a boil for a second, cover, and lower the heat to 4.

12. Set a timer for 15 minutes.

13. After 15 minutes, turn the meatballs so the uncooked side is now in the sauce.

14. Cook for another 15 minutes.

15. Turn off the heat.
