Grilled Halloumi Burgers

1 package Flatbread
2 package Halloumi Cheese (can substitute with nabulsi)
16 ounce Tzatziki
to taste Lettuce
to taste Tomato
to taste Pickled Red Onions
手順
Start by heating your grill or a grill pan. Once heated, grease the grates or the pan well with oil.
Heat the Flatbread (1 pckg) on the grill until hot, reserve them on a plate covered with a towel to keep them warm.
Place the Halloumi Cheese (2 pckg) on the grill and cook until nicely browned on each side, approximately 3-5 minutes per side. (If using nabulsi cook for 2 minutes per side instead)
Spread each Foldit with about 1/3 cup of Tzatziki (16 oz), add Lettuce (to taste) leaves, Tomato (to taste), grilled halloumi and Pickled Red Onions (to taste).
Fold and serve. Enjoy!

If using nabulsi instead do this and it’ll work:
Taste a tiny piece first. If it’s very salty, soak slices in cold water 30 minutes-2 hours (preferably overnight), then drain and pat very dry.
Slice thickness: about 1 cm (⅜ to ½ inch) so it doesn’t break.
Prevent sticking: lightly oil the cheese and the grill pan or grill grates.
Cook: medium to medium-high heat, about 2 to 3 minutes per side, until browned. If it’s browning too fast, lower the heat slightly.
One warning: if your Nabulsi is really salty and you don’t soak it, the burger can taste like “salt + cheese” and drown out everything else.
