Butter Chicken Tacos

recipe:

手順

marinate 250gm chicken breast/ boneless thigh with the following: salt to taste, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste. mix well and set aside.

in a pan, heat up some oil and cook the chicken until golden.

in a different pan, heat up 2 tbsp butter and add half an onion roughly sliced (medium sized), 1/4th cup cashews, 1 large tomato diced up, salt to taste, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp sugar.

cook on medium until the tomatoes and onion soften. let them cool down, and grind it up into a paste.

in the same pan, heat up 3 tbsp butter and add 1/4th tsp kashmiri red chilli powder and mix around. add the sauce and let it bubble for 1-2 minutes. add the chicken and mix everything well. then add 1/8th cup heavy cream and a pinch of kasuri methi (optional). garnish with chopped cilantro and you’re done.

for the taco assembly:

in a pan, heat up 4 tbsp oil and place your tacos in. add mozzarella cheese, as much as you desire. then add 2-3 tbsp of the butter chicken.

let the taco crisp up on the bottom and then fold it in half.
