For the Beef:
1 ½ pounds chuck beef
For the Gravy:
1 small onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
¾ cup beef broth
1 cup condensed cream of mushroom soup
3 tbsp brown gravy powder mix
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp water
Istruzioni
1. In a bowl, whisk together the brown gravy powder mix with condensed cream of mushroom
soup, minced garlic, beef broth, and diced yellow onion. It's okay if there are some lumps.
2. Place the stewing beef in a 4-quart slow cooker.
3. Pour the prepared gravy mixture over the beef, stirring to combine.
4. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 7 hours.
5. Use a slotted spoon to take out the beef chunks and set them aside.
6. In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch with water and add it to the liquid in the slow cooker.
7. Cover and continue to cook on high for 5 minutes.
8. Add the beef chunks back into the slow cooker, stirring to warm through.
9. Serve the Crockpot Beef Tips with Gravy over mashed potatoes or egg noodles.
