Istruzioni
1. Rinse Rice. Combine rice and water in a pot. Bring to a boil, then simmer, stirring occasionally, until rice is almost cooked and liquid is mostly absorbed (about 15-20 minutes).
2. In a separate bowl, whisk cocoa powder with a little hot water to make a smooth paste. If using tablea, add it directly to the pot and stir until dissolved.
3. Add cocoa paste and brown sugar to the simmering rice. Stir well until sugar dissolves and chocolate is fully incorporated.
4. Continue to simmer, stirring frequently, until champorado thickens to your desired consistency.
5. Ladle into bowls. Serve hot with your milk of choice (fresh milk, evaporated milk, condensed milk, or powdered milk) and tuyo (if using). Enjoy!
