2 cups rice+ regular amount of water minus 1/2 cup

1 lb Chicken

1/2 Onion

1/2 cup light soy sauce

1/4 cup vinegar

1 ½ tbsp sugar

5-6 cloves garlic

3-4 bay leaves

Salt and pepper
