Creamy Garlic Pork Chops

20g Butter
4 Pork chops, ideally nice thick ones
1 Onion
6 Cloves of garlic, chopped
250ml Chicken stock
150ml Double cream
50g Parmesan, grated
10g parsley, chopped
Istruzioni
1. Pat the pork chops dry with some kitchen paper, then season well with salt and pepper.
2. Heat some cooking oil in a large frying pan over a high heat. Add the butter, then when it melts add the pork chops and cook until they are golden brown on both sides. Use tongs to flip them on their side to crisp up the fat.
3. Once they are golden all over, remove them from the pan and set aside. In the same pan, add the onion and cook until it softens.
4. Chuck in the garlic and cook for a minute before pouring in the chicken stock, double cream, and adding the parmesan.
5. Stir it well, then get the pork chops back into the pan and cook until the sauce has thickened.
6. Add the parsley, stir well, then taste for seasoning.
7. Dish it up, ideally with mashed potato, and enjoy.
