Ingredienti

2 cups cake flour

1 cup sugar

1 teaspoon baking powder

3/4 teaspoon soda

1 teaspoon salt

3/4 teaspoon cloves

3/4 teaspoon cinnamon

3/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup shortening

1 cup buttermilk

3 eggs

1/2 cup butter

1 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup milk

2 cups powdered sugar

Istruzioni

Bake in a 9 x 13 inch pan at 350 for 35-40 minutes. Cool and then frost.

For frosting: Boil butter and brown sugar over low heat for 2 minutes. Stir in milk and bring to boil. Cool to lukewarm and add powdered sugar. Stir until thick and then frost.
