Lime Sesame Chicken

Ingredienti

1 ½ lbs boneless chicken thighs or breasts, sliced

3 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp honey

2 tbsp fresh lime juice 🍋

1 tbsp lime zest

2 tbsp sesame oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp grated ginger

1 tbsp rice vinegar

1 tbsp vegetable oil

2 tbsp sesame seeds

2 green onions, chopped 🌿

Salt and pepper to taste

Istruzioni

In a bowl, whisk soy sauce, honey, lime juice, lime zest, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar to create the marinade (5 minutes). 🍋

Add sliced chicken and coat well, then let marinate for rich flavor absorption (25 minutes).

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot (3 minutes). 🔥

Cook chicken in batches until golden, caramelized, and fully cooked through (12–14 minutes). 🍗

Pour remaining marinade into the pan and simmer until slightly thickened and glossy (3–4 minutes).

Sprinkle sesame seeds over the chicken and toss gently to coat evenly (2 minutes). 🌿

Remove from heat and garnish with fresh green onions for a final fresh touch (2 minutes).
