Beef & Guinness Stew

Ingredienti

650-700g steak pieces stewing meat

1 large white onion

2 leeks

4 carrots

300g chestnuts mushrooms

2 heaped tbsps plain flour

1 can of Guinness (pint)

2 tbsp tomato purée

1 tsp Salt

1 tsp pepper

1 tsp Onion granules

1 tsp garlic granules

1 tsp thyme

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Couple of bay leaves

Water as needed to evenly cover all ingredients

Fresh parsley to garnish

Cook on the hob for 2 hours on low stirring as necessary

Or

cook in the oven in a casserole dish for 2 hours at 170 fan oven stirring regularly
