Elderberry Bourbon Old Fashioned

2 oz bourbon

1/2 oz elderberry syrup (or substitute elderflower liqueur like St-Germain for a floral variation)

2–3 dashes Angostura or orange bitters

Large ice cube

Garnish: Orange peel twist or fresh thyme sprig (optional)

Petunjuk

In a mixing glass, add bourbon, elderberry syrup (or elderflower liqueur), and bitters.

Fill with ice and stir until well chilled (about 20–30 seconds).

Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.

Garnish with a twisted orange peel or a sprig of fresh thyme for a rustic touch.
