Creamy Parmesan Mashed Potatoes with Garlic Butter Steak Bit

1 1/2 lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

3/4 tsp salt

1/2 tsp cracked black pepper

2 tbsp olive oil

3 tbsp butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 lbs Yukon gold potatoes, peeled and cubed

4 tbsp butter

3/4 cup heavy cream

3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

Petunjuk

Cook the Potatoes

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add cubed Yukon gold potatoes and cook until fork tender. Drain well.

Make the Creamy Parmesan Mash

Mash the hot potatoes until smooth. Stir in butter, heavy cream, Parmesan, mozzarella, salt, and pepper until rich and creamy. Cover to keep warm.

Season the Steak

In a bowl, toss steak cubes with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and cracked black pepper.

Sear the Steak

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak cubes in a single layer and sear until browned on all sides.

Add Garlic Butter

Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Spoon the melted garlic butter over the steak bites until glossy and fragrant.

Plate the Dish

Scoop creamy mashed potatoes onto plates. Top with garlic butter steak bites and drizzle the extra butter sauce over the top.

Serve

Serve hot and garnish with parsley or chives if desired.
