Banana Bread

Bahan-bahan

1 C. Sugar

1/2 C. Butter

2 Eggs

1 tsp Vanilla

4 Bananas

2 C. Flour

1 tsp Baking Soda

1/4 tsp Salt

Petunjuk

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray loaf pan with non-stick and set aside.

2. Add sugar and butter to large mixing bowl. Beat until light and fluffy.

3. Add eggs, vanilla, and bananas to the bowl and mix until combined.

4. Then add the rest of the ingredients and mix until just combined.

5. Pour batter into a greased loaf pan.

6. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour or until the bread tests done by inserting toothpick in the middle and it comes out clean.

Catatan

Start testing bread 10 minutes before you think it will be done. Insert a cake tester or toothpick near the center of the loaf; if the tester comes out clean, then the center of the loaf is done.

You can substitute flour for your choice of flour with a 1:1 ratio.

You can add nuts of your choice as well

Use butter instead of oil in your bread! If you use oil it emulsifies and coats the flour which prevents it from absorbing to much water which will result in DRY BANANA BREAD.

STORAGE TIPS:

  • Keep your bread wrapped in plastic wrap, tin foil, or store in airtight container to jeep it from drying out. This can extend life of your bread. Another quick tip is to store in the fridge to make it last up to a week.

  • To freeze it wrap cooled loaf in plastic and again in foil and then place in the freezer for up to two months!
