5 cups all-purpose flour

1 tbsp instant yeast

2 1/2 tsp salt

2 1/2 tsp sugar

2 cups warm water

Petunjuk

Mix flour, instant yeast, salt, and sugar in a large bowl.

Add warm water and mix until dough comes together. Turn onto floured surface and knead 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Add flour as needed if dough is sticky.

Place in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let rise 30-60 minutes until doubled.

Turn dough onto floured surface. Roll into a large rectangle about 15 inches long. Starting from the long side, roll tightly into a log. Pinch the seam closed and tuck the ends under.

Place seam-side down on baking sheet. Make 3 diagonal cuts about ½ inch deep across the top. Cover and rise 30-60 minutes until puffy.

Preheat oven to 375°F. Bake 40-45 minutes until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.

Cool 10 minutes before slicing.
