2 minutes

teljes idő

Hozzávalók

8 oz noodles (lo mein, spaghetti, or ramen)

1 lb ground beef

1 tbsp sesame oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

½ cup low-sodium soy sauce

⅓ cup brown sugar

1 tsp ground ginger

½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

2 green onions, sliced

1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (optional, to thicken sauce)

Tip: Use noodles with a firm bite — they hold the sauce better and won’t turn mushy.

Útmutatók

Cook the Noodles

Boil noodles according to package directions. Drain, rinse lightly, and set aside.

Brown the Beef

In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat.

Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease if necessary.

Add Garlic & Seasoning

Stir in minced garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Make the Sauce

Pour in soy sauce and add brown sugar. Stir well, letting the sugar dissolve and the sauce begin to bubble.

Thicken (Optional)

If you want a thicker glaze:

Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl, then stir it into the skillet. Simmer for 1–2 minutes until thickened.

Add Noodles

Add cooked noodles to the skillet and toss until everything is well coated in the Mongolian sauce.

Finish & Serve

Top with sliced green onions and serve hot. #fblifestyle
