Deconstructed Kimbap Bowl

7 oz 90% lean ground beef, raw
3 tsp honey
2 tsp minced garlic
2 ½ tbsp soy sauce
1/3 second spray oil
1/2 tbsp sesame oil
black pepper & salt to taste
Toppings:
1/4 cup kimchi
2 egg (egg ribbons)
1 Persian cucumber
1 medium carrot
2 tbsp Korean Pickled Radish (Danmuji)
2 sticks of Imitation crab meat
1 tbsp furikake
1 ½ cup cooked rice
Upute
Thinly sliced your cucumbers, carrots, imitation crab meat. and Korean pickled radish into long strips
In a small bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, black pepper, salt, soy sauce, and sesame oil and mix to make your marinade
In a pan on medium heat coated with spray oil, add your ground beef and mix in your sauce until it cooked
Whisk together 2 eggs, and after removing the meat from the pan, thinly pour your egg mixture to create a thin omelette on low heat
Roll your thin, cooked omelette into a log and dice to create egg ribbons
You need meal prep container, add half your rice, half of your sliced toppings, half of your beef, and half of your egg ribbons and enjoy!
Pro tip: when meal prepping to re-heat, make sure to put your toppings & meat into separate ziploc bags to avoid getting the rice soggy. When ready to eat, microwave the rice with a wet paper towel first to get it steamed, then add in your meat and microwave till warm, and finally eat with your topping to preserve the crunch and enjoy!
