Basmati Or White Long Grain Rice

Ingrédients

1 cup white basmati rice or white long grain rice

1 1/4 cups vegetable broth water - 1 tablespoon

1/4 teaspoons salt

Instructions

Rinse the rice well and drain.

Add the rice, water and salt to the instant pot and stir.

Close & secure the lid. Select the manual setting and set the cooking time for 6 minutes at high pressure turning off the keep warm feature.

When cooking is complete, let NR for 10 minutes. Then do QR to release any remaining pressure. Open the pot.

Fluff the rice and stir.

Notes

If cooking pot-in-pot, cook 7 minutes with 10 minutes NR.

If cooking 1 1/2 cup rice, use 1 3/4 cup water.
