Marry Me Chicken Tortellini Recipe

1 lb (450 g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts (thinly sliced or pounded)
9 oz (250 g) cheese tortellini (fresh or store-bought)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes (packed in oil, drained and sliced)
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth (or more as needed)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken until golden and cooked through, then remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add garlic and sun-dried tomatoes. Sauté until fragrant.
Add Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, heavy cream, chicken broth, and Parmesan. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes.
Cook tortellini according to package instructions, then drain.
Return chicken to the skillet and combine with sauce. Add cooked tortellini and toss everything together.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.
