1 lb ground beef or thinly sliced steak (like ribeye)
1 tbsp olive oil (if using steak)
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 small onion, thinly sliced
1 (20 oz) package refrigerated cheese tortellini
1 1/2 cups Alfredo sauce
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 1/2 cups shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Fresh parsley or chives, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Cook the tortellini according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, cook ground beef (or sliced steak with olive oil) over medium heat until browned. Add the bell peppers and onion, and sauté for about 5–6 minutes until softened.
Stir in garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add the Alfredo sauce and milk, mixing well to combine.
Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet and toss to coat everything evenly in the sauce.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with provolone (or mozzarella) and cheddar cheese.
Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.
Let rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley or chives if desired.
