Chicken Breasts In Instant Pot

Ingrédients

Chicken breasts

Salt, pepper, garlic salt

1/2-1 cup water or chicken broth

Instructions

Season all sides of the chicken with salts and pepper

Pour the liquid in the instant pot and add the chicken breasts.

Close and lock the lid. Select manual and cook at high pressure 8 minutes (or more depending on size of breasts and if frozen - see in notes).

When cooking is done, NR 10 minutes and then QR.

Let the chicken rest 5-10 minutes before shredding or chopping.

Notes

6 oz breast-6 minutes if fresh or 10 minutes if frozen

8 oz breast-7 minutes if fresh or 11 minutes if frozen

10 oz breast-8 minutes if fresh or 12 minutes if frozen

Divide the total weight (lb/oz) of the breasts by the number of breasts to get the approx ounce per breast for cooking.

Always NR 10 minutes and let the chicken rest 5-10 minutes before shredding or chopping.
