Chicken with Buttered Noodles

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
8 oz egg noodles
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cups chicken broth
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup heavy cream (optional for extra creaminess)
1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Add chicken and cook for 5–6 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Pour in chicken broth and bring to a gentle boil.
Add egg noodles and cook for 6–8 minutes until tender.
Stir in remaining butter and heavy cream if using.
Return chicken to the pan and simmer for 5 minutes until heated through.
Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
