Poffertjes (Puffers!)

Ingrédients

2 c flour

1⅓ c lukewarm milk

2t active dry yeast

1 egg

1 pinch salt

Instructions

1. sift flour into bowl and make hole in center

2. Dissolve yeast inguill small portion of milk

3. Sprinkle salt around outer edge of flour

4. Pour yeast mixture into center of flour

5. Stir from center out, slowly adding remaining milk and egg

6. Cover and let rise in warm place for 45 mins before cooking in buttered poffertjes pan

7. Serve hot with melted butter and powdered sugar
