Ingrédients

1 cup pastina pasta (or any tiny pasta)

2 cups chicken broth (or water with a pinch of salt)

1 tbsp unsalted butter

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

¼ tsp salt (adjust to taste)

¼ tsp black pepper

1 tbsp heavy cream or milk (optional, for extra creaminess)

Fresh parsley or extra Parmesan for garnish (optional)

Instructions

In a small pot, bring chicken broth to a boil.

Add the pastina and cook according to package instructions (usually 4-5 minutes), stirring occasionally.

Once the pastina is tender and has absorbed most of the broth, reduce heat to low.

Stir in butter and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy

Add a splash of heavy cream or milk for extra creaminess, if desired.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Serve warm and enjoy this cozy, comforting dish!
