4 Rice Cooker cups Nishiki Medium Grain Premium Brown Rice

6 Rice Cooker cups water (should fill to 4 cup line in rice cooker)

~3/4tsp. salt

Instructions

Measure rice and fill container with cool water, quick swish, drain to rinse first dusty water out, then proceed to add water, lightly wash, drain ~3 times, or till water runs clear.

I'll wash in the rice cooker pot, drain to strainer basket, dry pot, and add to rice cooker before adding rice and water.

Add water to rice in cooker pan to line / proper amount to bag (directions in 'Ingredients' is prime for our rice cooker), and add the bit of salt.

Soak for a base minimum of 30 minutes. At least an hour is ideal.

Start rice cooker on the 'Brown Rice' setting.

Notes

For this quantity, should make about 1500g rice. ~100g = 1/2 cup cooked rice for serving.
