Ingrédients

170g margarine (6oz) @flora

170g caster sugar (6oz)

3 eggs

170g self-raising flour (6oz)

85g plain flour (3oz)

1 tsp vanilla extract @taylorandcolledge

255g icing sugar (9oz)

2-3 tbsp milk

1 ½ tbsp sprinkles

Instructions

Cream together flora and sugar in mixing bowl then beat through (whisked) eggs

Then add vanilla extract, self-raising flour and plain flour

Pour into baking tin lined with greaseproof paper

Bake at 160C (fan), 180 conventional or 320F for 45-60 minutes (check with a skewer to ensure fully cooked through - mine took 50 minutes)

Remove from baking tin and allow to cool, then flip over (upside down) before icing - you’ll get a smoother and more even topping / finish

Mix icing sugar and milk together, pour over cooled cake and then dust sprinkles over the top

Cut into squares once the icing has set and serve wirh custard and a cuppa ☕️
