Cedar Plank Salmon

Ingrédients

Salmon Fillets

1 cup maple syrup

Juice from one lemon

Zest from same lemon

4 cloves garlic chopped

3 T Soy sauce

Scallions

Salt/Pepper

Instructions

1. Combine maple syrup, lemon juice (reserve 1 T), garlic and soy sauce in saucepan.

2. Bring to a boil and simmer until reduced in half (about 1/2 hour). Watch it! It tends to boil over very easily.

3. Place salmon over a bed of scallions. Salt and pepper to taste. Pour 1/2 of the maple syrup mixture over salmon.

4. Bake in a moderate oven until just cooked through.

5. Add reserved T of lemon juice to remaining sauce and heat just before serving.

Serve salmon with remaining sauce.
