Mall Style Chicken

Ingrédients

Chicken (I used 5 chicken breasts seasoned with the following…)

Salt

Pepper

Onion powder

Garlic powder

Dusted with flour

SAUCE: (please note you will have to scale the sauce depending on how much chicken you use and how saucy you want it to be)

1/3 cup honey

1 tbsp soy sauce

2-4 cloves garlic, grated

1 tbsp ketchup

1 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar

A pinch of red pepper flakes

OPTIONAL but highly recommended: 1 tbsp ginger paste (if you don’t have this it’s not the end of the world)

Cut chicken into small bite-sized pieces. Lightly season with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and dust with flour. Sear chicken.

Instructions

Mix honey, soy sauce, ketchup, vinegar, grated garlic and ginger in a cup. Stir well.

Pour sauce over seared chicken. Toss to coat evenly. We served this with rice and steamed veggies.
