Cherries in Cherry Brandy

Ingrédients

1 pound fresh cherries, pitted

¾ cup sugar

¾ cup kirsch

Instructions

Place cherries, sugar, and brandy in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Transfer to a bowl and let cool. Spoon cherries and juices into a tall jar and cover tightly. Store in a dark place for at least 2 days before using.

Makes 2 cups.
