Glazed Peach Cake

Ingrédients

1 pound can sliced peaches

1/4 cup butter

1/2 cup brown sugar packed

1 cup sifted flour

1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

3/4 cup sugar

4 tablespoons shortening

1/2 cup milk

1 egg

Instructions

Drain peaches.

Melt butter in a deep 8 inch cake pan.

Sprinkle on brown sugar stir. Place peach slices on top.

Put shortening in a bowl and cream with the sugars. Then add dry ingredients and mix.

Add milk a little at a time. Then add an egg and beat.

Pour over peaches.

Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes.
